The past few months have been filled with activities, so here are some highlights.
Khmer New Year – April 14-16
In April, the country celebrated one of its most important holidays – Khmer New Year. Celebrations were held throughout the country for three days. Many left Phnom Penh to visit their families in the provinces. During the holiday, the staff of FEBC Cambodia took the opportunity to share the love of Christ through some of the special events being held in Phnom Penh.
Trip to Keyp – May 1-4
In May, we took a trip to the coastal province of Kep to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. For an added adventure, we took the train from Phnom Penh to Kep, a journey of about four hours. The scenery along the way was quite nice!
EMDC/Trip to Chiangmai – May 16-23
This conference gave us the opportunity to see the latest available technologies, to learn effective strategies, and to network with others who have a passion for sharing Christ and discipling the unreached through media. The conference also provided a wonderful opportunity for worship, renewing old acquaintances, and making new friends. We are excited to be able to use the things we learned to enhance our abilities to share Christ with the unreached.
